So also with the educational games also occupied by a local product because the game overseas is not entirely in accordance with the socio-cultural conditions of the Indonesian people.

"We really hope game industry in Indonesia can continue to grow with the support of the government. With so many creative ideas in Indonesia, we believe in one to two years before we can catch up from Singapore and Malaysia," he said.

At this time in the game industry in the country is still very small. In fact, business opportunities in this field are very promising with the level of employment is very large.

Bullitt mention, at this time there are 10 new game developer companies in Indonesia. "What is so constraints, the industry is loaded with entrepreneurial ability," he said.

Countries that have been advanced in the industry as the game industry to the top of the middle class in Asia, namely Korea and Japan.

In Indonesia, the industry developed a new game in recent years and have not be steal a glance by so many people.

Interest to study the youth game in Indonesia is quite high, but still a few institutions that provide higher education faculty in the field of animation including game.

10 friendly environment gadgets

Sabtu, 06 Juni 2009

In the framework of the world environment day (05-06-09) I am very interested in the information about the following friendly environment gadgets. (from: http://gadgets.infoniac.com)

1. Solar Necklace With LED night
An increasing number of companies are looking forward towards using green technology and thus a variety of eco-friendly products appear on the market, highlighting a new stage in the field. What you are currently observing is a necklace called Lux.

The device was designed by May Yokohama. The necklace is composed of a set of small solar panels that accumulate energy during the day and then use this energy at night to power the LED lights that beautifully enrich the necklace. The panels need only a couple of hours to gather enough energy to make the LED lights radiate for four hours. The solar necklace is a simple and yet stylish representative of green technology.

2. Solar-Powered and Bluetooth Headphones
Using the energy of the sun these huge Bluetooth headphones were developed by a student from Transylvania University of Brasov, Shepeleff Stephen. The gadget is dubbed Q-Sound and though the headphones will probably make you feel like some kind of weirdo, they are still unique and most importantly they are eco-friendly.

Q-Sound features solar cells installed across the headband's top. These solar cells can generate power for the two removable rechargeable NiMH batteries, both having a capacity of 800mAh with an operating voltage of 1.2V. The headphones allow you to run Bluetooth and an mp3 player. On a full charge the device can run for up to 40 hours.

2. Palm works itself to death
The Tahina palm, or Tahina spectabilis, is a gigantic new species of palm represented by fewer than 100 specimens, concentrated in a small area of northwestern Madagascar. The plant works itself to death, producing a spectacular display with countless flowers. After fruiting, the palm dies and collapses. Soon after the publication of the species, seeds were disseminated throughout the palm grower community. Sales raised money for conservation efforts, and it has become a highly prized ornamental.
