Sudjarwadi, M.Eng, Ph.D. menyebutkan namanya dan memintanya untuk berdiri, sontak seluruh para wisudawan dan orang tua mencari sosok orang yang dimaksud. Maklum, badannya yang relatif kecil dibanding rekan-rekannya, walau sudah berdiri sekalipun di kursi paling depan, seluruh pengunjung tetap penasaran melihat sosok wajahnya.
Adalah Riana Helmi, salah satu wisudawan yang disebutkan rektor di acara wisuda sarjana dan diploma 3 periode III di gedung Grha Sabha Pramana, Selasa (19/5). Di umur 17 tahun 11 bulan, Riana berhasil lulus sebagai sarjana kedokteran.

Diakui anak pertama dari pasangan Helmi dan Rofiah itu, dirinya masuk ke UGM umur 14 tahun pada 1 sepetember 2005 dan lulus pada 25 februari 2009 dengan IPK 3,67. Sehingga jika dihitung Riana lulus dalam waktu 3 tahun, enam bulan.

Ditemui disela-sela acara wisudawan di gedung GSP UGM, dengan ditemani kedua orang tua dan salah satu adik kandungnya, Riana mengaku senang setelah lulus dan disebutkan rektor sebagai wisudawan termuda. ''Ya, alhamdulillah,'' jawab perempuan kelahiran Banda Aceh, 22 Maret 1991 itu singkat.
Riana mengaku dirinya tidak banyak menghadapi banyak kendala dalam menyesuaikan diri saat kuliah di Fakultas Kedokteran. Bahkan dirinya banyak mengerjakan tugas layak seperti mahasiswa lainnya.
''Kesulitan sih ada, ya semua bisa diatasi, kalau di kedokreran tugasnya banyak,'' katanya yang mengaku masuk UGM lewat jalur program PBS tahun 2005.
Seperti pengakuan dari ayahnya, Helmi, selama duduk di bangku sekolah SMP dan SMA, anaknya mengikuti program akselerasi. Namun sebelumnya masuk bangku sekolah dasar pada umur 4 tahun.

''Sejak umur 3 tahun, Riana sudah bisa membaca, saat itu kita disuruh belikan buku-buku untuk belajar, meski kita ngantuk sekalipun, kita dipaksa untuk mengajarinya,'' katanya.
Salah satu sifat Riana sejak kecil diakui Helmi adalah tidak suka boneka, sehingga waktu bermainnya adalah dengan belajar. ''Setelah sekolah, maunya mainnya juga belajar, dan takut sama boneka, jadi nggak pernah main boneka, kalau lihat boneka dimana-mana ia langsung menjerit,'' kata Helmi yang berprofesi sebagai dosen perwira Polri di Suka Bumi, Jawa Barat.

Selain itu, lanjutnya, Riana sejak kecil mengaggap sekolah sebagai tempat bermain. Sehingga ketika di antar ke sekolah dan belajar, ia betul-betul menikmati proses belajar dalam suasana gembira.
''Sekolah dianggap bermain, setiap pergi sekolah ia selalu gembira, saat turun dari motor, ia langsung berlari gembira, senang saat sekolah, dan selalu datang lebih pagi,'' jelasnya.
Meski sudah lulus dalam usia muda, Riana memiliki keinginan untuk melanjutkan sekolahnya dan bercita-cita untuk menjadi dokter spesialis kandungan. Good luck ...
